According to store owner Meredith Deas Tollison, the concept for Keep It Casual grew out of a need in Tupelo for a casual furnishings retail store. With her father, Bill Deas' expertise, garnered as owner of Patio Place and manager of the outdoor division of Hancock Furniture, the need grew into a reality.
"Over three years Keep It Casual has developed a loyal customer base and attracts new customers daily," said Tollison. "We carry the largest selection of fine indoor and outdoor casual furnishings and accessories in Northeast Mississippi."
Perhaps Keep It Casual attracts such a large customer base because of its vast selection of all things outdoors. Among the furniture lines carried are Meadowcraft wrought iron, Lloyd Flanders indoor and outdoor wicker, International Home eucalyptus and Hanamint cast aluminum.
Keep It Casual is located at 1154 West Main Street in the West Main Shopping Center in Tupelo.
 Although furniture is their specialty, Keep It Casual boasts a plethora of indoor and outdoor accessories as well. They have an immense supply of indoor and outdoor throw pillows and cushions and umbrellas, as well as hammocks, beach chairs and citronella candles and torches. Outdoor serving pieces and tableware may also be found here.
