Community Development

The Community Development Foundation is committed, through the Community Development department, to making sure that every community, whether in the city limits of Tupelo or out in the small municipalities of Lee County, have an opportunity to grow into or remain thriving communities. We are concerned with the availability and deliverability of information in the underserved communities of our area. We intend strongly to serve as conduits to the citizens of our county. We sincerely wish to continue vital partnerships with community leaders. These partnerships help to foster initiatives such as Drop-out prevention, family support services, and employment and hiring guidance in low income communities.
