Phil Hoffman, President of InnOvation Seating Solutions, announced today that the company will manufacture seating for hotels and assisted living facilities in the Westwood Industries Building on Glasgow Lane in Tupelo. The company will reach 100 employees at full production in its 100,000 square foot facility.“We are focusing on a niche market that hasn’t felt the same pangs as the rest of the furniture industry,” said Ed Bartee, InnOvation Seating Solutions’ CFO. “We are off to a great start and feel that the business will grow.”The start-up company is the brainchild of industry all-stars including Bartee; Hoffman and his wife, Barbara; Bill Cotter, Vice President of Sales; and Tom Gilmer, Vice President of Manufacturing. All veterans of the furniture industry, they collectively possess over 100 years of furniture manufacturing experience. With the goal to be one of America’s leading suppliers of high quality commercial upholstered furniture and wood framed chairs for the Hospitality and Senior Congregate Living Industries, InnOvation Seating Solutions’ primary focus is to produce and deliver products of the highest quality. They will also be marketing a line of residential seating products.
