Community Development Foundation
Gina Black currently serves as Director of Events for the Community Development Foundation (CDF) in Tupelo, Mississippi. CDF is a 72-year old organization that is consistently recognized as one of the Top 10 economic development organizations in the United States by Site Selection magazine.
Through partnerships with Itawamba Community College, Lee County Schools and Tupelo Public School District, Gina helps provide an effective workforce development process for local existing industries and new industries locating in the Tupelo/Lee County area. Gina also facilitates several workforce development, events and activities in the local K-12 school systems.
Gina received her Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from Mississippi State University. She and her husband have two grown children, one son-in-law and one granddaughter. Gina enjoys gardening, painting, traveling and spending time with family
