Community Development Foundation
Jon Milstead currently serves as Vice President of Planning and Property for the Community Development Foundation (CDF) in Tupelo, Mississippi. CDF is a 72-year old organization that is consistently recognized as one of the Top 10 economic development organizations in the United States by Site Selection magazine.
Jon is a registered Landscape Architect and administers the CDF Planning and Property Division. Jon works daily with the municipalities of Lee County to promote growth and development by enhancing town policies, procedures and partnerships. His focus is to provide the most innovative tools to each municipality so that they will be prepared to manage growth. Jon also works with the Council of Governments, a county-wide partnership of municipal governments for progressive leadership.
Jon earned a bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture from Mississippi State University. He is married and has three children. When he’s not planning hard for the municipalities of Lee County, Jon enjoys hunting, fishing and spending time with his family at the lake.
