Maury Giachelli

Maury Giachelli currently serves as Director of Existing Business Development for the Community Development Foundation (CDF) in Tupelo, Mississippi. CDF is a 75-year-old organization that is consistently recognized as one of the Top 10 economic development organizations in the United States by Site Selection magazine.
Maury is responsible for the planning and implementation of the existing business development and retention strategies in the Tupelo/Lee County area. Maury maintains strong working relationships with our existing businesses to better understand their barriers and opportunities for growth and retention. Serving also as CDF’s workforce development program director, Maury connects new and existing businesses to available workforce development programs and incentives.
Maury comes to CDF following a successful tenure as plant manager and environmental consultant with The Traylor Group/Tupelo Recycling. Maury’s private industry experience and knowledge gives him a unique advantage in helping our existing businesses.
Maury earned his Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness from Mississippi State University. He enjoys hunting, attending Mississippi State sporting events and spending time with his family. He and his wife Anna have two children.
