Director of Projects
Community Development Foundation
Rob Hairston currently serves as Director of Projects for the Community Development Foundation (CDF) in Tupelo, Mississippi. CDF is a 72-year old organization that is consistently recognized as one of the Top 10 economic development organizations in the United States by Site Selection magazine.
Rob seeks opportunities to locate new industries into our region and assist with the recruitment and site location processes. More specifically, his responsibilities include creating informational packages for potential industries, performing economic research, and coordinating with local partners to foster the small business environment. Additionally, Rob works with the municipalities of Lee County to fulfill their community planning and development needs.
Rob embraces creativity and collaboration in his role and relishes the opportunity to strengthen Tupelo and Lee County’s status as an extraordinary place to live, work and visit.
Rob earned his Bachelor of Science in Communications from Mississippi State University and his Master of City and Regional Planning from Clemson University. He enjoys fishing, hiking and traveling to new places. Rob resides in Tupelo with his wife and faithful hound.
