Lowest cost of living for Q2 and Q3 in 2025
11/25/2025Among the 245 urban areas that participated in the second quarter and the third quarter of the 2025 Cost of Living Index, the after-tax cost for a professional/managerial standard of living ranged from more than twice the national average in New York (Manhattan), NY to more than 20 percent below the national average in Tupelo, MS. The Cost of Living Index is published quarterly by C2ER – The Council for Community and Economic Research (www.coli.org).
$912 Million Investment Creating 252 New U.S. Manufacturing Jobs
11/18/2025Toyota’s U.S. manufacturing presence is expanding again to meet growing demand for hybrid vehicles. As a part of Toyota’s recent commitment to invest up to $10 billion in the U.S. over the next five years, the company announces a $912 million investment and 252 new jobs across five manufacturing plants to increase hybrid capacity and bring hybrid-electric Corollas to its production lineup.
